 It’s my last day here and I’m sitting here on the patio soaking in the morning sun. I’m feeling such love, peace and serenity right now and as the sun warms my body I can feel its rays healing me. I’m remembering your words describing us; all of us, as separate rays of sunlight yet part of one glorious source, the sun. Thank you for that wonderful analogy can always carry with me.

I remember the sound of your voice on March 30th when I received your phone call; it was filled with compassion and hope, patience and sincerity. I had never felt anything like that from a doctor; it took me by surprise. You filled me with new hope! I trusted you and I’m so, very glad that I did. I’m getting so healthy and it’s not just a physiological healing. I feel a rekindling in my soul where the light was beginning to diminish. You helped me return to the woman God has always intended me to be. You reminded me of his love for me and lifted a veil that was hiding the gifts that God gave me. Through the years of tragedy and struggles I put that veil there, the veil of doubt, fear and insecurities which kept me separated from my true self. You are an answered prayer and you helped lift that veil. Thank you for believing in me, for healing me inside and out, I know you give all that glory to God, but God worked through you and I am eternally grateful. You are my earth angel and I will always remember you, the way you treated me, I will always remember how gentle you were the way you removed my sutures, your words…”If it takes all day to remove them, then that’s what we’ll do…one itty bitty stitch at a time”. You did not invalidate my fear; you
comforted me and you were patient. When I look at that scar I will remember your loving kindness; its so rare, but not impossible for people to become more loving like you. I like my scar because it will always be on my body and I can have a physical reminder of you!

Fredda, I am going to share my experience with people. My mission is…in a nutshell to heal and to lead. I want to lead people to healing. I want to lead them to you so get ready. I’m going to stay focused on my mission and I will be happy every time someone takes that leap of faith and goes to you. You won’t steer a patient wrong and I wouldn’t either.

The staff you have; your team is a stellar example of what medical assistants should be. I could write so much more, and I will later, this I promise you but for now I will close my letter with lots of love, gratitude and excitement for what my future holds. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and teaching me how to take my health care into my own hands. Thank you for all these gifts you have given me, for returning a phone call as promptly, I’ve never had that happen before.
God bless you and your hard work! I can’t wait to see what happens next, because I’ve only just begun on this new mission of mine to bring patients your way for the healing they deserve. Won’t they be in for a wonderful surprise!
